SpaceX Falcon Heavy
3D Printed Model Rocket

This large display model of the SpaceX Falcon Heavy rocket is easy to 3D print and is part of our rocket collection of downloadable STL files.

The Falcon Heavy is a partially reusable heavy-lift launch vehicle that is produced by SpaceX, an American aerospace manufacturer. The rocket consists of two strap-on boosters made from Falcon 9 first stages, a center core also made from a Falcon 9 first stage, and a second stage on top. Falcon Heavy has the highest payload capacity of any currently operational launch vehicle and the third-highest capacity of any rocket ever to reach orbit, trailing the Saturn V and Energia.

SpaceX conducted Falcon Heavy’s maiden launch on 6 February 2018. The rocket was designed to be able to carry humans into space beyond low Earth orbit, although as yet, SpaceX does not intend to transport people on Falcon Heavy, nor pursue the human-rating certification process to transport NASA astronauts. Both Falcon Heavy and Falcon 9 are expected to eventually be superseded by the in-development Starship launch system.

Standing at approx 230ft high this rocket is an impressive feat of engineering and we believe also makes an impressive large display model.

Painstakingly recreated in Fusion360 this scaled replica is designed to be printed in sections so print time can easily be managed. These sections are designed to easily slot together, requiring only a small amount of glue. The model was designed so that where possible, the construction joints are in the same place as the joints in the real rocket.

We are pleased to provide the STL file for this rocket, completely free of charge with  full resale licensing. All we ask is that you do not share this file or put it up on other STL sharing sites such as thingiverse. If you would like to share it or link to it(i.e. from a youtube link) then please link to this page so that we may keep the model up to date.

The main body is designed to be printed on an FDM printer and our display models shown, were printed on the Creality Ender 3

We also provide a suggested decal sheet which can be printed on clear, transfer film and applying to the painted rocket.

We regularly update our models so ask for an email address to send them to. This allows us to let users know about and send updates out to everyone at once.  You will also receive news about all future releases. We will never sell our pass on your details.

Here at Aeroform3D we love to see how our models have been painted up and displayed and encourage you to upload photos of your printed models to our facebook page. Be sure to check out or YouTube channel for more info on this and other models.

Thank you for your interest in our FREE STL file.

To enable you to receive the latest files as well as all updates we require an email address to send them to. You will then receive automatic updates as well as hearing about other new releases. We promise never to sell or pass on your details.
