This course was designed for the complete beginner, with follow-along examples to allow you to put into practice the skills as you learn them. Throughout this TinkerCAD course, you’ll be creating your own objects that you could then 3D print.
You will begin right at the start and learn how to set up the software. You will learn basic selection, creation, and modification techniques first, before following along as we put those skills into practice.
As the course progresses you will learn gradually more advanced modeling tools. By learning this way you will not only learn how to do something but why and where we use those skills. This will leave you with a much greater understanding of the software and how it is used in the workplace.

TinkerCAD is completely free and online based which means it can be used anywhere and is easily accessible.
Although it is basic compared to more advanced software, this makes it ideal as a first CAD design program for those with no previous experience.
By learning TinkerCAD you will have a firm grounding in the basics before moving on to more advanced software.
Easily design simple objects and get creative
Although TinkerCAD makes it easy to create basic shapes, it is surprisingly capable and these basic building blocks can be combined to create more complex objects.
Your imagination is the limit and this course will show how to create more complex objects easily.
